40”x34” -This piece was inspired by a brave new transition. Hard conversations. Big transition in our life and relationships. There are loose ends and open ended conversations. There are a lot of unknowns. I used that energy and every emotion to create this piece. It is very different than anything I’ve created... but I think that is because I feel different. Today I’m standing in new freedom that also brings on shifts. I’m trying my hardest to handle it all in the best possible way and hold on for all the twists and turns. There are layers to every situation and our own trauma braided into everything and I’m trying to stay grounded in coming from a place of peace and justice. I’m grounded in my desire to love in the way Jesus did.
